Tomato and Cucumber Marinated Salad

What do you do with vine-ripened tomatoes and crisp cucmbers? Make a great chilled salad!
I found a simple recipe that was just a half cup of vinegar, one quarter cup sugar, some salt and pepper, all mix together and stirred into a chopped tomato, sliced cucumber and some sliced onion. As an afterthought, I decided to slice up a couple of radishes to add to it.
