I made a quick Bolognese-style sauce tonight before I left for work, and when I said "made" I use that terms loosely, Sandra Lee-style. I browned some ground beef with onion and garlic and added a jar of pre-made spaghetti sauce and a can of diced tomatoes because I like it chunky.
I almost did something with the kale I had from last week's SLO Veg box, then changed my mind. But I needed more vegetable. I know! Squash! So I diced up a yellow squash and added it to the mix. A few black olives finished it off. It came out very appetizing so I packed a bowl for myself to take to work. Dinner for the boys was ready--almost. They can cook their own pasta. : )
